Hook-On Plasterboard Bead Tips’N’Tricks

Hook on can be used by simply push or tapped into place.

It can be secured by other methods such as dot and dab or staple or using nails if necessary.

We found that a firm tap with your hand or level pushes the bead firmly into its place, you can of course always use anything you have to hand as long as it doesn’t damage the bead.

If using the bead in a location that is damp or has low airflow this will cause the galv to rust. It is a common problem that occurs with all beads that are exposed to excessive moisture, in which case we recommend to use an Alkali Resisting Primer as treatment.
